My heritage, my present, my world
Greetings to you all!
I hail from the mountain peak of Puhangatohora.
The flowing waters of the Tāhekeroa river and the vast depths of the Hokianga harbour.
My ancestral lineage comes from the Ngātokimatawhaorua canoe.
My people belong to the sub-tribes of Ngāti Pākau and Te Mahurehure who belong to the greater tribe of Ngāpuhi Nui Tonu.
Tāheke is my home, my shelter and my place of Virtue.
Jung Chun is my name.
